5/28/14: WATCH DOGS!

Yesterday, Ubisoft released the most anticipated, maybe even the biggest and best-selling game of all year, Watch Dogs for XBOX 360, XBOX One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Microsoft Windows.

This open world action-adventure third-person shooter takes place in a futuristic version of Chicago, Illinois, following a skilled hacker, Aiden Pearce, who has access to all the electronic technology in the city, including stoplights, cellphones, security cameras, and power facilities.

Hacking is one of the only ways Aiden can seek vengance on the death of his niece, who was killed in a car crash from unknown culprits. Aiden also uses his powerful hacking abilities to meet your desires, whether you want him to clean up crime or cause crime.

And who knew? The way you can hack one of biggest cities in the world is by a touch of a button on a smartphone. One app, called the Profiler, in the game, can have you viewing random strangers' personal information, phone and text conversations, track people down through security cameras, webcams, and even their own phones, stop and start stoplights to cause traffic conversions, shut down power in entire areas, and manipulate peoples' Bluetooth. And that's only of the few powers you have!

For an era and society that basically can't function without the Internet, we finally have a game that allows us to see how everything connects together, for the good and for the bad, allowing for us to talk to someone all across the world and how security cameras are always watching us.
