I saw this movie with my friend Reece and his parents and it was a really good movie. It had a high score on all the sites we know of like Rotten Tomatoes and the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) and all reviews of the film were positive and summarized that the movie was better than thought.
Here's my review:

Welcome to the life of Emmett (voiced by Chris Pratt), an ordinary LEGO figure who's job is to construct and deconstruct structures in his LEGO world. Living the same routine everday, he
thinks he's happy until he accidentally tries to follow a girl who he's attracted to who's digging around in the construction zone. After encountering a hidden gem, he gets the piece of resistance stuck on his back. He's knocked out from contact with the gem, and soon realizes he's trapped with authorities, officers, and robotic slaves of President Business (voiced by Will Ferrell). He's later rescued by Wyldstyle (voiced by Elizabeth Banks) who soon discovers his mistaken identity. Virtuvius (voiced by Morgan Freeman) and Batman/Bruce Wayne (voiced by Will Arnett) as well as many other unique and interesting characters help them on their way to defeat President, or Lord, Business, who plans to use a giant super glue bottle to glue the world together in the perfect form.
This film is extremely entertaining. It takes you on a wild ride through incredible CGI, that looks like stop-motion, spot-on voice acting, superb action sequences, non-stop humor appropriate for all ages, and even some heart-warming and moving scenes. The characters aren't just LEGO figures. They act and play as real humans, thanks to the spot-on voice acting, and become very realistic and relatable as the movie goes on. It brings back nostalgia, for LEGO fanatics, and even is enjoyable for non-LEGO-lovers.
The writing is intelligent and creative, not following a cliched storyline and cliched details, but adding in twists and turns that make it original and having a sense of, well, imagination.
Although it was labeled as a kids' film, this is great for all ages. Adults, teenagers, and kids can connect to themes tied in this movie, can laugh and can cry.
You really get into it if you see the movie in 3D. You become so engrossed in the fantastic and visually-stunning and uniquely-animated world on the screen that it feels real and comes alive.
The character development is not like other films I've seen. You get see the bad and good in everyone, just like any normal human being, and you see their changes. The bad guy isn't always bad. The good guy isn't always good. Things don't always work out. That sort of thing.
The wonderful cast of voice actors did a great job and you can tell they had a lot of fun voicing their characters, including some famous celebrities like Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, and Will Ferrell.
There was nothing really bad about the film. Really, it was perfect in almost all ways any normal movie-goer could see. It blew my mind how much effort and detail was spent into making this film the best film I've seen this year so far. It definitely deserves a high-level nomination or many small-level awards.
Overall, this wildly entertaining, unique and originally-styled and animated all-age-appropriate film filled with great humor with a great story brought to life by a fantastic CGI world and characters, I'd give The Lego Movie.....
