2/15/14: TOP 5 AVICII SONGS!

From David Guetta to Calvin Harris, Skrillex to Flux Pavillion, Swedish House Mafia to Benny Benassi, the revolution of the DJ is coming to its climax, and one of them has really got me into this dance/electronic style.

Avicii
Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, is a Swedish DJ, remixer, and electronic musician. Only 24-years-old, he's made a big impact on the world with his award-winning
hits, original and interesting lyrics, and extraordinary talent on the soundboard.

You may know him for his top hits "Levels" and "Wake Me Up," but he's done much, much more great work, and today, I'm going to be naming his top 5 best singles.

5) Wake Me Up

The fifth spot on the list is the 2013 smash hit "Wake Me Up," made popular by extreme overplay on the radio, Aloe Blacc's great voice, and energetic dance breaks. With interesting lyrics focused on fulfilling life, love, and happiness, this is original song sang beautifully Aloe Blacc with an uplifting beat that keeps you moving, feeling like you're fulfilling life, love, and happiness yourself.

4) Fade Into Darkness

A simple love song with an uplifting beat that moves around from slow to really fast in a perfect pace. In any Avicii song, always a beautiful vocal performance, mixed along with dance breaks that make you feel in love with the music, and in love with the person you're dancing with.

3) Silhouettes

Besides the controversial music video, about a young man receiving a sex change operation, and loads of Internet hate, it's still a great song about starting fresh. With a uniquely-Autotuned Salem Al Fakir vocal performance mixed with a slow and easy beat, that doesn't get too energetic, it gives the right amount of beat for you to step out into the world a whole new person, like the young man turned young woman in the music video.

2) Levels

A great workout song, almost entirely made up of a catchy beat that goes jumps back from slow to fast throughout, it's a great song that makes you want to get up and move your body. A simple single, with only a few seconds of vocals from Etta James's "Something's Got a Hold on Me," a unique music video about a man addicted to dancing, and an original dance pattern, this song is not one you want to miss.

1) Dear Boy

Well exceeding over "Levels" and "Wake Me Up" in my opinion, the song that peaks on the first spot is a simple love song about a girl that's been Friend Zoned by a boy she's loved her whole life, with memorable lyrics (Dear Boy, I want to follow you, you're a wild boy, I am a wild girl too), and awesome dance breaks with some perfect dubstep to add.
