6/15/14: MY MOST ANTICIPATED GAMES COMING UP IN 2014 AND LATER

I'm a huge geek that really digs anything involving movies or video games. And today, for Father's Day, I'm going to be sharing my list of many of the games coming up later in the 2014 year and later.

Many of these games were featured at E3 (one of the biggest video game conventions held at the Los Angeles Convention Center) 2014 (ran June 11-13, 2014). I watched both XBOX and Playstation conferences on livestream, so I got to see a lot of previews from intriguing games that I just can't wait for!

Let all the gaming nerds congregate!

Jesse Berlin's List for Future Games He Can't Wait For

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
Excited? Somewhat
"I Want" Level: Wouldn't be the first on my list, but it still looks pretty fun
First Impressions: From XBOX's demo, the game looks like a new change for the Call of Duty franchise. The maps look large in scale with so much chaos going on. It doesn't look realistic at all, but like any COD game, it looks pretty sweet in terms of an action-packed experience. I may just buy just to see how good Kevin Spacey is at being a bad guy.

Assassin's Creed Unity
Excited? Never been a huge Assassin's Creed fan so not really
"I Want" Level: Eh, I really hoped the next Assassin's Creed would take place sometime in the 20th Century like Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia. That would make me consider buying
First Impressions: My favorite Assassin's Creed was the third one, even though I know many people consider that the worst one. From the demo, it doesn't look as good, and I may be prejudical to the Assassin's Creed franchise since it's never really pulled me in or impressed me before, but it seems like the most realistic and large-scaled game in the series. Also, there's co-op, which Ubisoft should've added in earlier in the franchise, and maybe I'd have been more of a fan. I mean, who doesn't want to mess around in the French Revolution with friends?

Evolve
Excited? Valve fan, but this doesn't look like the best
"I Want" Level: I'd play it over at a friend's house
First Impressions: Valve has come out with some very good and very fun games that I've enjoyed in the past, like Portal, Left 4 Dead, Half-Life, and Team Fortress 2, but this doesn't look very appealing in my opinion. Monsters? Really? I know Valve hasn't come out with anything big for a while, and they still haven't given us Half-Life 3, but really? If I wanted to play a Valve game with monsters, I'd just play Left 4 Dead! The demo at least didn't make it very spectacular to me, but hey, maybe it'll be better than I think in future demos.

Quantum Break
Excited? Heck ya! I saw the teaser trailer a while ago and instantly wanted in my hands!
"I Want" Level: YES?! Can I pre-order?!
First Impressions: Not much has been showed of the game, but what I do know from online research is this: it's about time travel, it has incredibly realistic graphics, and the concept of freezing time just makes it look so badass! I know this is an XBOX One exclusive, and I only have the PS4, but I'd definitely buy an XBOX One just to get Quantum Break! That's how much I want it!

Tom Clancy's The Divison
Excited? Pretty clueless about the Tom Clancy franchise, but this may turn me into a fan
"I Want" Level: Looks interesting, I'd consider buying at a closer look
First Impressions: The demo made it look like another third-person shooter, but the graphics are amazing and it offers a unique style of action that I'd love to try out.

Destiny
Excited? I hate Halo. I've never gotten into it. Sorry fans, but I just don't. This just looks like another Halo to be honest.
"I Want" Level: I'd also play it with friends, but I don't think I'd buy it for myself
First Impressions: Developed by Bungie (makers of Halo), Destiny just looks like another sci-fi shooter, which doesn't really impress me that much. When I game, I want to do more than just shoot a gun. I want to game to leave you to explore a world and overwhelm with many things (so basically, I like open-world games), but from the demo and content I've seen, it doesn't look very original or starstruck in my opinion. I guess only Halo fans will love it.

The Crew
Excited? Racing games have become one of my new favorite genres and this is the best one I've seen
"I Want" Level: YES!!!
First Impressions: The graphics are amazing and the cars look awesome! That's all I can say, but I just can see myself having fun races with friends!

Just Dance 2015
Excited? I'm not gay. I like dancing. I like music. I like this game.
"I Want" Level: I have Just Dance 4 and Just Dance 2014, so why not?
First Impressions: Okay, many of you ignorant people may think: Dancing games are for girls! You're gay for liking them! That's not gay. Men have all sorts of passions, and one of my passions and interests is dance. So what? The game like every other game in the series, it looks like it offers a good time with your friends. You can also record and share yourelf dancing, which is a cool new feature that can have me seeing if I compete against my friends with mad dancing skills!

Far Cry 4
Exicted? I WANT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"I Want" Level: I WANT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First Impressions: When I saw the demo, I saw the Himalayas, mountain-climbing, elephats, and exploding crossbows! One of my all-time favorite games is Far Cry 3, which blew me away, so I can't wait to take on a new open-world experience in this game!

So basically, I want The Crew, Quantum Break, Just Dance 2015, and Far Cry 4, and I'd be the happiest person on Earth.
