I watched this movie in an IMAX theater with 3D glasses on, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching this movie in.
Anyway, here's my review:

Gravity is a thrilling 3D experience of a lifetime, revolutionizing the power of film, with visually stunning scenes and an intense adventure that makes you feel you're with Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. From director Alfonso Cuaron, I give you Gravity.
The story is pretty simple, but follows astronaut Ryan Stone [Sandra Bullock] and medical engineer Matt Kowalski [George Clooney] on board the space shuttle Explorer. They're fixing the Hubble telescope when they hear from Mission Control that a Russian satellite has been destroyed and is now hurtling in orbit towards them, and that they need to find cover before debris destroys their vessel. Of course, the debris hits Explorer and sends Stone and Kowalski hurtling in space, stranded and floating in space. Kowalski eventually catches up to Stone and they attach together by a tether and they fly around, Kowalski strapped to a thruster pack and they find ways to get back to Earth.
This film wasn't just good, nor was it great. It was amazing. IMAX in 3D is definitely recommended for this film, because I wouldn't imagine any other way to experience this film. A lot of special effects in movies are good, but seem cheesy and get old after a while, but in this film, it worked a lot, and it actually was really, really good. The CGI was worked on, and every little detail was fixed up. Every spaceship looked real. Even the CGI Earth looked incredibly real. Director Alfonso Cuaron definitely picked the best angles for Emmanuel Lubezski, the cinematographer, who did close-ups, backed-up, shaky cam, etc. that worked in every scene.
The film itself was intense. The first five minutes is calm and then you sent hurtling through this adventure with Ryan Stone and Matt Kowalski. The intensity keeps you on the edge of your seat and leaves many speechless and amazed at the film.
Nothing was really bad with the film. I thought it was basically pretty much perfect. [WARNING SPOILER AHEAD!] Although I hated how we only got to Kowalski for ten minutes and then he hurtled away and apparently died. I didn't think he had so much screen time, and should've least been on the adventure for a little big longer. I didn't feel I got to know him that well. Only for this stories and sense of humor.
For a small cast, fairly short length, and a revolutionary masterpiece of cinema with some incredible special effects and cinematography, haunting music with even some slight humor mixed in with some over-the-top intensity, I'd give Gravity...
9.5 out of 10
